A special International Women’s Day celebration!

Stories have the power to inspire our imagination, open our minds to new possibilities and make us happy. Join this amazing panel of three Atlanta authors as they talk about creating stories that empower women and girls. Speaking from their own experience, they will recount how their lives helped shaped their books. And how they use the power of story to carry a message of hope, love and joy.
Appearing on the panel will be City of Norcross resident Mayra Cuevas, talking about her debut young adult novel, Salty, Bitter, Sweet. Mayra will be in conversation with young adult Atlanta author and Emory University Scholar-in-Residence, Marie Marquardt. The event will be moderated by CNN anchor and women’s advocate, Christi Paul.
They will take questions from the audience and sign books after the event. Books will be available for sale at the event.
